How to make the best Drüp coffee?
Infuse Drüp in 4 oz of boiling water for one minute, then lengthen up to 8 oz. Infuse for five more minutes and enjoy. To accentuate the flavour, the bag can be left in the cup. Residue may settle at the bottom.
I like my coffee stronger. Should I add less water?
The optimal infusion of a bag remains 8 oz of boiling water. If you prefer your coffee even tighter, we suggest you opt for a more robust origin like Urban Dark Roast or Nomad Africa.
There’s a residue at the bottom. Is it normal?
The fineness of the grinding and weaving lead in a residue to settle. Nothing unusual here, this deposit is part of the infusion ritual.
I prefer to buy local. Where is my coffee from?
Unfortunately, we can’t grow coffee with Quebec’s weather. However, the imported grains are roasted and packaged in the Laurentians in Quebec.
How should I store the Drüp bags to maximise its freshness?
Keep the bags in their individual envelopes. They are specially laminated to preserve freshness.
I already infused and drank my coffee. Can I reuse the bag for a second coffee on the go?
Sure! However, a second infusion will attenuate the original flavours.
I need a good coffee in the morning. Is it possible while travelling or camping?
Wherever you are, each Drüp bag will ensure the same freshness. Single or in batches, they can be easily transported for your next getaway!
Does my Drüp bag have an expiry date?
Although coffee can stand the test of time, it can also lose its taste properties. For an optimal taste, drink Drüp within six months of purchase.
I just placed an order. How long should I expect for delivery?
Thank you for ordering from Drüp! If the product is not out of stock, allow a delay between 2 or 3 business days in Quebec.
Is the Drüp bag recyclable?
The whole muslin containing your coffee is biodegradable. The coloured bag contains an inner lamination necessary for the preservation of the product and is unfortunately not 100% recyclable. We are constantly working to find recyclable materials through our products.
I prefer my coffee decaffeinated. How is the Water Process better than the conventional method?
This method extracts caffeine using a supercritical fluid (carbon dioxide) in a water basin. The Water Process method is increasingly adopted for reasons of health, environmental impact, costs and flavours.
